This has become my all-time favourite Korean-Chinese restaurant! I’ve ate at this restaurant several times now with my mom, and we enjoy the food every single time. We always order the rosé jjampong and original jajangmyeon and I heavily suggest ordering these two items! Both dishes have wonderful flavour, are very filling and include plenty of meat, seafood and vegetables. The customer service is also excellent, with the servers always smiling, being kind and attentive. I can’t wait to come back!

JJajang 1980 surprised me in the best way. Every dish landed strong and nothing felt dull or forgettable. Shrimp tempura came out light and crisp. No heavy batter. Tangsuyuk had the right crunch and the sauce hit sweet and tangy without feeling syrupy. Kalbi jjajang stole the show. The short rib sat on the noodles tender and rich. Jjamppong brought real heat and a deep seafood broth that warms you fast. Spicy wok bibimbab had great flavour, the pork and veggies worked well and the fried egg tied everything together. Portions felt solid and the food tasted fresh. Service stayed friendly. I left full and impressed. This spot delivers.

Wow, I was very very pleasantly surprised with how delicious these dishes were!! The noodles were so chewy and the flavour of the broths and sauces were very deep and rich! The rose champong was amazing in particular - so tasty and unique! You can tell how much effort the chefs put into these dishes. Really great value too - great portion for the price point and we will be back for sure to try more!

Great food, we ordered the rose jjamppong and the jjajang, overall we’d recommend the rose jjamppong, it is spicy, creamy and cheesy, also has a chewy texture to the noodle w a decent amount of seafood. Service was also great, they offered us tissues when we ran out, and a glass w ice and a lemon for the soft drink!

Solid Korean Chinese food joint, the jajangmyeon I had was bouncy and flavourful, not too sweet or salty Depending on how hungry you are, you can have the bowl by yourself or share with a friend. They also have sushi so I got the spicy salmon roll and ordered a japchae noodle on the side. Quick service and convenient location in North York area. Will come back for my noodle cravings!

Instant water serve, and adequate serve time with a fine casual music in the background, and the combo menu was also great. I think I'll visit here at least once a week or two. Also, music isn't so loud that you can make a call or listen to your own music on earphone if you want.

Without a doubt the best Jajangmyeon I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional, with very attentive staff. Even for a quick lunch, it left me wanting more. I’ll definitely be back.

First time here! The Jjammong and Jjajang are out of this world! Such depth of flavour for both. Sushi is also super fresh and delish! Would absolutely recommend :)
